The first in a new MC series, Undaunted was an attention
grabber from the very first page.
Logan is the VP for the Kings of Retribution MC and is loyal
to his club and brothers, especially Jake the pres. After suffering loss in his
life, Logan keeps his heart secure and never lets any woman get close to him. That
is until he meets Bella.
After being rescued from car failure, Bella finds herself
working for the local MC which brings her into close contact with Logan. From
the moment they meet the sparks fly and it is inevitable that this strong
connection will lead to something between them. Logan feels an overwhelming
need to protect Bella, especially from her douche of a step dad. Bella welcomes
the protection of the MC, especially Logan, to support her and her sister Alba.
I really enjoyed this MC read and that it wasn’t overly
light or too dark, it just found the right level of violence (and there is some
gritty parts) that was easily balanced by the romance and hotness. The sub
characters were also engaging, especially Jake (I hope we get an older romance
story for him) and Gabriel who is such an enigma but one of those dark and
enticing alphas!
Overall a hot, steamy with a dramatic MC storyline that has
left me eager for more. Four stars.
