His hair is combed back and oh, how I love every chiseled inch of his face. He’s the first to move, prying his hands from his pockets, eyes flaring, inhaling visibly—his inhale stretching the fabric of that black tux.

The concluding second part in the fantastic White House series and another gripping

Two months on from election night and Matt Hamilton has the

of him that is missing and one that he tried to let go but he cannot live
without the love of his life, Charlotte.
Having been in Europe for the last two months after being
unable to face seeing Matt’s face across all the media, Charlotte Wells is now
back and setting herself on a path to recovery to get over the love she has
lost. Yes she is proud of everything he has achieved and whilst she can
understand his reasons for them being unable to be together, she still cannot
hold back in the pain that the separation has brought upon her. Little does she
know that change is a coming for both of them.
This was a spellbinding and heart pounding epic of a book
journey that had me in awe at every page. Matt was such an inspiring,
enthralling, and absolutely irresistible man that I had me falling in love with
him over and over again. I was just yearning for him to be real! When he realises
that yes, he has a job to do but no, he cannot let Charlotte go? Oh I was
swooning into my kindle (if that is possible to do!) for this gorgeous, sexy,
alpha hottie.
The moment they are reunited was mesmerising and so
atmospheric you could almost feel the tension and intensity in the air. It wasn’t
just the outstanding and passionate sex scenes that amassed this climatic love
story but it was also the gentle caresses, the secret touches, the meeting of
eyes across a crowded room that built this relationship into something so
special. I just could not put this book down and I was so traumatised when I
finished it as I didn’t want to leave the happy that had surrounded me whilst
reading it.
The backstory of the presidency was also unmissable and the speeches
that held an aspiring and promise of a new and better future. I could have
cheered and shouted (hard to do on a packed train believe me!) The way that
Matt held all the power and made the impossible happen was an exciting and
joyous addition to the read. He was just so fearless and had me gasping with awe.
The relationship between the two was so sweet on one hand
but so passionate and hot in the other. I liked that Charlotte was no
wallflower either, she build herself into one hell of a first lady and was
amazing. But it was the epic love between them that I absolutely ADORED!
The ending was fantastic and I was jealous that
they got to live on in that amazing world that Katy Evans has built. I wanted
more and I wanted to stay in that happy, inspiring and heart felt world of love
and empowerment with the esteemed handsome president and his wonderful first
lady. Amazing. A zillion stars from me
