SYNOPSIS

A man with no name.
Mysterious.
Dangerous.
Brooding.
Sexy.
Once a week he frequents the bar where Mackenzie works.  He orders the same drink, scotch on the rocks, and he sits back on the same lounge chair, quietly watching… waiting…
He has money - that much is obvious.  He wears his tailored suits well.  He smells divine, of expensive cologne, and orders his scotch from the top shelf.
He drinks alone, but he never leaves that way.  With a snap of his fingers, a flick of his eyes, a glimmer of a smile, he gets the attention of the most attractive women in the bar.
This time his focus is on Mackenzie.  Instead of feeling nervous Mackenzie is enthralled, intrigued…
and aroused.

AUTHOR BIO

Megan Keith is a married, mother of three, living in a small country town in New South Wales, Australia.  She has a constant thirst for a good story, whether it is in books, music, movies, on TV, or just plain old-fashioned gossip.  She has always had a creative side and loves to let her imagination run wild.   On a few occasions over the years, Megan has put those imaginings into a written story, but never dreamed of publishing.  She has always loved to read, but it wasn't until she got given a Kindle that it became a full-blown addiction.  Her introduction to the world of Indie Authors re-ignited her passion for writing.  Megan published her first book Finding My Way, a New Adult Romance, in June 2013.  Crossroads, the second book to the Finding My Way trilogy, was published September 2013.  Eraser (a dark & erotic novella) is Megan’s first attempt at Erotica.

MY REVIEW

My Rating = An absolutely mega FIVE
*ARC provided by author in return for an honest review

This novella was an amazing read and its wonderful atmospheric theme totally surrounded and enveloped me into this deep and seductive dance between the two main characters Mackenzie and Sir.

Mackenzie has been watching the mysterious stranger who comes into the high class bar where she works. He arrives at the same time every Friday night and leaves with the woman he entices, a different one each week. She knows when he has arrived as she can feel the air subtly change whenever he appears. She is strongly drawn to him and finds herself being frustrated that she is so out of his league and would never catch the eye of this gorgeous and handsome sexy man.  But then on that one night she is shocked to find herself the target of his attention from his stance at his usual table. Mackenzie is therefore taken aback but is curiously intrigued, very nervous but so attracted to this man. When he asks her to sit with him and buys her a drink she knows that something has started as he has never done this with any of the women he has walked out with before. He ‘asks’ her to leave with him and when in the chauffer driven car to his penthouse, he blindfolds her, she knows she is in for something ultimately daring, dangerous but so enticing.

Oh I just loved this book! It was so dramatic and if you play the music suggested (Mr Self Destruct and Eraser by Nine Inch Nails) it added to the pleasure of this read. It was so dark and dramatic but absolutely tantalising and erotic. The writing and flow actually made me feel I was the receiver of the attentions of ‘Sir’ and I was there in the moment with him (I wish!) It was amazing!

I have read Ms Keith’s other books which are New Adult genre so this was a whole leap away from this. I know she has stated she came way out of her comfort zone to write this so can I just say she needs to be a whole lot uncomfortable again and keep writing this genre.

I can count on one hand the number of novellas which are brilliant and this one is now amongst them. Fabulous!
